Not me Monday!

SO it is that time again! Time for Not me Monday and time to reveal all of the things I did not do this week! Go check out MckMama's blog for a chance to read what other folks did not do this week!!!!

1. I did not want to turn around and strangle the man that sat behind me on the plane from Memphis to Vegas because he felt the need to KICK the mess out of my seat about every 5 minutes the entire almost 4 hour flight.

2. I also did not try to think of ways I could trip said man when he went down the aisle to get off the plane just to teach him a lesson! ;0)

3. I did not want to punch a man's lights out when he kept trying to hand me a card with some escort services phone number on it while we were walking down the strip in Vegas. Seriously, I had no idea I looked like the kind that was looking for an escort while I was in town! YUCK!

4. I did not buy my child stationary and pencils yesterday in hopes she would entertain herself while I did housework! Sometimes, you got to pull out all the stops!

5. I did not buy a pair of $140 shoes at Macy's to wear to dinner one night and then decide since I only wore them on carpet and in the hotel, I could easily take them back for a refund as soon as I got back home. :0)

6. I did not sleep till 10am yesterday only to be told by my youngest "Mommy if you don't get up right now, I am going to walk to Krispy Kreme and get my own breakfast!" Nothing like that coming out of a 6yr old's mouth will make you spring out of the bed so fast! Yeah and we won't even go there in re: to the fact that my child thinks Krispy Kreme is our normal breakfast around here.

7. I also did not have the bank teller tell me "Wow! You must LOVE Krispy Kreme!!" When I went in to inquire about a charge on my debit card! What is it her business anyway where most of my debit purchases are for?!?!?! I did not give the teller a dirty look and contemplate saying LOUDLY " So, are you saying I'm fat?!?!?!"

So there you have it! So glad I did not do those things this week! :0)

Not me Monday

So yes it is Monday again and it is time for the Not Me carnival from MckMama's blog! If you have not checked out her blog, be sure to stop by to read others Not me's and to get a glimpse of this precious lady named McKmama! :)

Ok so here goes.......

• I did not cry like a baby during Brooke's performance at school on Friday! That would have embarrassed her like crazy and I will not be one of those mom's that embarrass her children.



• I did not make the girls watch one of my favorite movies from when I was their age. I did not sit down and watch it with them because it reminded me of my younger days. This mom does not have time to sit and watch a whole movie!



• I did not tell the groomer at Petsmart a little white lie yesterday when we dropped Lily off for a haircut! It seems the price doubles when they hit 6 months old. Geez, she only weighs 2 lbs.! What does it matter her age?!?!?



• I did not get so engrossed in my book while sitting in dance class, that 3 other mothers had to yell my name to get my attention, and when I was startled so with all the commotion, I did not drop my book to the floor, thus losing my place in my book! :0(



• I did not watch my child plop down on a public toilet this weekend at the movie theater before it was layered with toilet paper! I did not then jerk said child up from toilet all while scaring the mess out of her hoping the 5 second rule applied to bare tushs and germy toilet seats!



• I also did not see a child wipe his nose on his mother's coat this weekend all while she was telling him not to touch anything because of the germs in the pet store. Wonder what she will think when she finds that mess on her coat sleeve??? I did not laugh at this woman because that would be wrong. :0)

I think that's about all I did not do this week! I really enjoy Mondays a little more now that I have this FREE therapy!! :0)

Not me Monday!

So I am running late in my Not Me Monday post but hey, better late than never right?

So here goes, my attempt to to let you in on all I did not do this week! :)

1. I did not buy an obnoxiously cute Alabama cookie plate for Santa at the gift shop today! I would not be that true of a Bama fan, I think that would seem obsessive and I am not obsessive about things I love. :) (Picture of said plate will surface soon!)

2. I did not make all 4 of our girls get up EARLY on Sunday morning so I could take pictures of them before church since they were all ready and looking gorgeous as ever. I would never do that, especially in the early, chilly, morning hours. :)

3. I also did not make my husband drive 20 miles down an old country road all because I saw something on the Internet about a covered bridge down that road. I also did not get upset when we finally stopped for directions only to be told, that said bridge was bought and turned into PRIVATE PROPERTY. :0( I did not want pictures of my girls on that bridge, oh no not me!

4. I did not let my husband take 4 girls to the Civic Center to see Disney on Ice by himself, because we had our oldest daughter come unexpectedly and we were short 1 ticket for all of us. I also did not enjoy myself shopping while he was at the show with our little ones. (To my defense, it I did do this, he works and does not get to spend time with the kids often enough) :)

5. I did not sit at the hospital for 5 hours today while my husband had to have a yucky procedure only to find out we would have to come back for surgery in a few weeks. I also did not cry when they wheeled him to the O.R. for his procedure. I have been watching too much Grey's, I know.. He likes to torment me too much to leave me on this earth by myself. :)

Not me Monday!

Yes, it is that time again! WONDERFUL NOT ME MONDAY!! :0) Scoot on over to MckMama's blog to see other charming Not me posts!! :o)

• I did not walk up to a man in Target that had on one of those "Target Red" shirts on and ask him where something was, only to have him laugh and tell me he did not work there... I still think he was lying. I think he just wanted to go and enjoy his break in peace. Seriously, note to self, do NOT wear any shade of red shirt while shopping in Target unless you are prepared to show a slew of people where things are.... I did not feel like a complete goober and thank God again, I live in a city I DO NOT know many people. ;o)



• I did not secretly gloat when MY team beat my husbands team badly in football on Sat. NO, really, I didn't, I gloated to his face. ;o) So much in fact that I am worried all that gloating and I will drive all the way to Tuscaloosa in a couple of weeks to see them play Auburn and come home defeated and I will chalk it all up to waaaay too much bragging when my hubby's team lost. :0( Geez, I hope not!



• I did not start a new book this week, that I can't stop and put down. I also did not surf the Internet for all things twilight this last week. I know, I need a life.



• I did not find a 2 1/2 foot long green snake in my driveway and I did not almost crawl on top of my car while my memaw, yes, I made my grandmother deal with it, got a stick and guided him off to the woods. I did not then demand to know why we did not kill the snake because I would never think of such a thing. We let spiders and such run wild around our house, don't you??? ;0)



• I did not watch a Jon and Kate plus 8 marathon this week, when I realized they were taking up 70% of my DVR memory. Geez, that family takes up a bunch of space even on my cable box..



• I did not have my hair done this week only to be so mortified when even my children looked scared when I picked them up at car pool. I did not wear a hoodie, the rest of the day so that my husband could not see it. I finally caved at bedtime and shed the hood. It's really bad people....



• I did not go to the pet store and have a 30 min long discussion with the associate that we were looking for a new pet just so I could hold a sweet cocker spanial puppy that was in the window..



• I did not come downstairs to find a present from Lilly on my COUCH of all places..I am assuming she was scared to get down when she left, I mean did not leave a present on my couch. So much for cute little dogs, a lab would have NEVER done that....;0)

Not me Monday!

I did not have to take my child to get a pencil stuck in hair out at the salon this week.

I also did not tell said child she could possibly have to have her hair shaved off as a deterrent to never do this again.

I did not make an entire cake and proceed to keep it in our extra fridge in the garage, so that the kids would not see it and want a piece every time I opened the refridgerator door.

I did not spend waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many hours reading my OLD blog just reading how much life has changed since I started blogging.

I did not take my children to the GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH this weekend, because I did this several years ago and I swore then we would not do it again. I am a glutton for punishment.

I did not have a conversation with my husband about how wonderful it would be to have another baby and we also did not make an appt with a specialist to see what our 1st step would be. We have 5 between us, who needs more?

I did not get all nostaligic just driving thru our old hometown this weekend, remembering how easy it was to know where everything was. I am not homesick for days after coming back..Not me!

I did not go and collect our rent money from downtown because I had to meet the lady close to where she worked at 7pm. I did not feel like a drug dealer as I sat and counted to make sure all my money was there so I did not have to hurt her if it wasnt't. lol!

Not me Monday!

I did not tell my my youngest child they were out of a costume at one store because I already had my OWN ideas on what I wanted her to wear for Halloween! That would make me controlling, Oh no, Not me!

I did not make a man at Sears go back and search his entire stockroom for the patio set I saw in the catalog, only to decide that I really did not want it while he was on his hunt for it. Oh no, Not me!

I did not enjoy my weekend with my husband with no kids since that would make me less of a mom. Oh No, Not me!

I did not pout for an hour in the car, because of not getting my way while we were driving to get the kids. That would make me spoiled and ANYONE that knows me, knows that I am NOT! Oh No, Not me!

I did not stop for chicken strips and a mocha from Starbucks on the way home and then when my hubby wanted to go out to eat an hour later, told him, i just didnt feel good! Oh No, Not me! (By the way, I was not good at destroying the evidence so I was busted)

I did not walk thru out to my mail box in nothing but bare feet only to step in a small horse pile in BARE FEET! I also did not make my 10 yr old come out and help me get it off so I could go in the house and soak my feet for 2 hours all while watching "SUNSET TAN" on my Ipod. Cmon people, They had to be sterile!! BTW, we have a 2lb dog so who left a 4lb present in my driveway?

I did not have lunch with my youngest at school this week and loved every bite of it! Who likes lunchroom food?? Oh No, Not me!
