Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for eye-opening events... No matter how wonderful or painful they can sometimes be. They are here for us to learn from and I intend to do just that.....

I am thankful for a peaceful spirit. To know that it will all be ok, no matter the outcome, what a glorious thing to be thankful for!

Thursday Thankfuls!

So it's that time again! Thankful Thursday time! :0) My great blogger friend JennyKate is a regular thankful thursday gal and she keeps me on my toes!! :0)

SO here it is!

• I am thankful for God. I am thankful I am able to bring all of my joys and sorrows to him and he listens EVERYTIME. :0)
• I am thankful for my family!
• I am thankful for the price on gas right now! YIPPEE!! :0)
• I am thankful for my trip this weekend! I need one really bad right now!
• I am thankful that I got our Reba/Kelly tickets! My girls are so excited, they can't stand it and yes Mom is too! :0)
• I am thankful for the girl's school. There is a world of difference in school systems between here and back home.
• I am thankful for all my bloggy buddies! You are all very near and dear to my heart! :0)
• I am thankful that Twilight comes out soon! I am also thankful our babysitter has agreed to go with me so I don't have to go alone! ;0)

Thankful Thursday

I have been slacking in my Thankful posts, so here goes, my list of things I am thankful for.. :0)

1. I am thankful that I don' t have to watch my world turn upside down with whoever won the election. John McCain nor Barack Obama determine my worth or value in this world.

2. I am thankful that Brooke got the solo in the Veterans day program at school. She will sing in front of the entire school, (students, faculty, parents, and SOLDIERS!)

3. I am so thankful that my children have chosen to thrive when uprooted and moved away from everything that was familar.

4. I am thankful that my husband gets up and goes into a job that is not always easy so that we can have stability.

5. I am thankful for our church. :0) We did not know if we would find one that lived up to our old church's expectations, but we did and I could not be happier. :0)

6. I am thankful for lunch with our Pastor and his wife yesterday. It is wonderful to be with people that are so full of life.. :0)

7. I am thankful I was asked to be in charge of our church's float in the Christmas Parade. I love to help and when I was told I was in charge, what woman does not love that? ;0)

8. I am thankful for all my friends, new ones here and old ones back home that have kept in touch. I know we don't get to talk often or see each other, but the fact that you have made attempts to keep me close in your hearts speaks volumes. :0)

Thankful Tuesday...

My thankful posts are inspired from my friend Donna. Donna's blog inspires me in ways I can't explain and she is the reason behind my Thankful posts! :o)

1. I am thankful for my family

2. I am thankful for my sister coming to visit me this weekend and us having some "sister" time.

3. I am thankful that I am learning my way around a new town.

4. I am thankful that Brooke is feeling better! It has been a rough couple of weeks!

5. I am thankful we have found a bible study to plug into and we have a couples "date night" on Friday. :)

6. I am thankful that one day it's going to be worth it all! :0)

7. I am thankful that gas is going down slowly but surely.

8. I am thankful that my house is almost finished! We are done unpacking and settling in! :0)
